The story of a timeless ring: 

The art of filigree has been used by Etruscans as early as the 9th Century BC and is now one of the many treasures of the Mediterranean cultural heritage. Similar to metal embroidery, its ornaments are made of gold or silver threads, skilfully intertwined. The various motifs formed by the honeycomb filigree grains recall wheat grains and have a symbolic function: wishes of abundance, prosperity, and love. For a long time the filigree ring was the Sardinian traditional engagement ring.
