The story of a timeless jewel : 

The art of filigree has been used by Etruscans as early as the 9th Century BC and is now one of the many treasures of the Mediterranean cultural heritage. Similar to metal embroidery, its ornaments are composed of gold threads skilfully intertwined. The granulation technique used to create this piece of jewellery derives from the Pibiones, traditional "grain weaving" technique used to create relief typical Sardinian tapestries.
