TRADITION OF GOLDSMITHS
Already used by the Etruscans in the 9th century BC, the art of filigree is one of the jewels of the Mediterranean cultural heritage. Similar to metal embroidery, its ornaments are composed of gold or silver threads skilfully interlaced and welded. In a small workshop in Sardinia, our goldsmiths perpetuate this local know-how. The different patterns formed by the grains of filigree - honeycomb, granulation, pibiones... - ensure a symbolic function, wishes of abundance and prosperity, at the same time as a sign of regional belonging. One recognized with the alliance the village of each. Entirely handmade, our 18-carat gold rings require ten hours of meticulous work. The silver rings are cast using the lost wax technique, before being reworked by hand.
